Picture Description #2

A szóbeli nyelvvizsgák és érettségik egyik meghatározó része a képleírás, illetve beszélgetés egy vagy több kép alapján. Ilyenkor az a feladatunk, hogy a fotók alapján mondjuk el a véleményünket egy adott témáról. Beszélhetünk általánosságban vagy saját tapasztalatainkról, a lényeg, hogy minél bővebben tudjunk számot adni a szóban forgó témakörről és vele együtt a nyelvtudásunkról. Szóval készüljetek arra , hogy itt nem csupán a képek leírásáról van szó, hanem arról, hogy folyamatosan és nyelvtanilag helyesen tudjatok beszélni a képek által ábrázolt témáról. Ha véletlenül nincs ötletetek, akkor próbáljatok először a személyes élményeitekre, véleményetekre gondolni, így utána már könnyebben tudtok általánosságban véleményt alkotni.

A következő két mintaleírás a szórakozás témájához kapcsolódik. (Természetesen az itt olvasható leírás csak egy példa, és nem az egyedüli helyes megoldás, sokkal inkább azt modellezi, körülbelül mit várnak el a szóbeli nyelvvizsgán vagy érettségin.)

Reading 

I really like these pictures because I'm a great fan of books, and reading in general. I usually spend my free time reading novels or short stories; actually, I'm a real bookworm. One of the reasons why I am so fond of literature is that I quite enjoy using my imagination and reading about interesting people and places. 

No matter if it's science-fiction, romance, fantasy or crime  as long as I find it entertaining and enjoyable. For me reading for pleasure is great fun and a good way to relax and forget about my everyday problems. I couldn't really say that I have a favourite author since there are so many talented writers with unique ideas and stories that it's difficult to choose just one. Sometimes I wish I had more time to read. 

What is more, I  do not only read books but I often find a lot of interesting stuff on the Internet too. Reading forums, blogs and different articles is just as amusing as reading fiction. However, I hardly ever buy newspapers and magazines because most of them are quite expensive and it's much easier to surf on the Internet, and find websites that I'm interested in.

Films

I have always loved watching movies. When I was younger, I used to go to the cinema every weekend with my friends. Now I don't go as often as I used to because cinema tickets have become very expensive, and unfortunately there are fewer and fewer films that are worth watching in the cinema. However, I spend a lot of time watching DVDs , and I also have to admit that sometimes I download films from the Internet.

I really love westerns, comedies and dramas, and I don't mind sci-fi and romantic films. I tend to watch them with subtitles as it's a good way to improve my English too. Before deciding what films to watch, I often look for their trailers on the Internet.

Although the setting, the editing and the soundtrack are very important, I think it's the director and the actors who  can really make a movie interesting for me. My favourite filmmaker is Clint Eastwood: he's not only an extraordinary actor, but also great at finding fantastic stories to tell, stories that are very moving. His works such as Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino and The Bridges of Madison County are among the best films I have ever seen.
